WILL'S SHAKE OF
THE MONTH
In 2017, Will’s Shake of the Month began as a fundraising feature for then 6-year old Will Kohn. The incredible story of brave Will, who was born with a severe heart condition, united a community of love and support for Will and his family. Will would be the first patient at the University of Iowa Stead Family Children’s Hospital. Since then Central Standard, with your support, has donated over $14,000 to Stead Family Children’s Hospital in Will’s name. We are truly honored to be supportive of such an amazing young man and the love he has provided the world.
Starting in 2023, Will’s Shake of Month donations will be made to the University of Iowa Holden Comprehensive Cancer Center. Our lives and the lives of many others have been affected by cancer. It is our intention to contribute to the support of patients and families suffering through their battles as well as the innovative research being done to fight cancer. We are very much looking forward to 2023 with renewed hope and optimism for prevention, detection, and treatment of cancer.
